Planning Your Visit
Reservations: All school and group visits must have a reservation confirmed by the Venice Museum. Please schedule your visit at least three weeks in advance by contacting Susan Ionescu, Education Coordinator, at 941-486-2487 or by submitting a request online. (Caroline: please link to the reservation form I am providing.)
Hours: The Venice Museum is open Monday through Wednesday from 10 A.M. to 4 P.M. Please arrange to arrive 15 minutes in advance of the appointed time.
Chaperones: One teacher or chaperone is required for every ten students. Teachers and chaperones are responsible for supervising the group. Please provide name tags for all students.
Accessibility: The Venice Museum is fully accessible to the handicapped.
Cancellations: To change a student or group visit, please call at least 24 hours in advance.
Lunch: Blalock Park, across the street from the Museum, is a perfect location for a picnic lunch.
Buses: A parking lot is just in front of the Museum and available for parking
